In Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir, BODH, BHUTIA, and GUJJAR BAKARWAL tribal artisans use pure sheep wool to create jackets, shawls, stoles, and other apparel through traditional handloom techniques. The fabric is woven on hand-operated looms with four pedals, producing strong and beautifully crafted textiles. Using merino wool, pashmina, angora, yak hair, and local sheep wool, these pieces showcase vibrant geometric patterns in shades of blue, saffron, purple, and green. The simple twill weave with colorful details shows the region’s rich tradition and skilled craftsmanship.

Note: Although, an artisan does take care to maintain pattern and colour scheme however to create identical products a little variation could be seen against the image shown here being hand made products.

Disclaimer: There might be little shade variation between actual product and image shown on the screen due to photography effect.
