Å“Kotwalia is an Indigenous forest dwelling community from the Narmada Basin in Gujarat, India. The community is classified as the most vulnerable tribal group (PVTG) of Indian tribes because of their pre-agricultural level of technology, prevailing poverty and very low literacy rate. The number of Kotwalias weaving bamboo is dwindling, along with the traditional product range.
