The Fabric Base:
Made from authentic Tassar silk, which is coarser and more textured than
mulberry silk. It features a distinctive earthy charm and a muted,
sophisticated matte-gold sheen.
The Jala Technique:
The word Jala refers to a complex, traditional master-pattern system
used on handlooms. Tribal and rural artisans meticulously thread a lattice or
mesh grid to weave complex, non-repetitive geometric and figurative designs
directly into the fabric.
Placement of Work:

heavy, unbroken pattern.
- Jala
Pallu / Border: The body is left solid or accented with minor buttans
