This is a traditional Warli painting created on cloth using natural white pigment on a mud-brown background. The artwork beautifully depicts village life, tribal traditions, music, dance, and connection with nature.
At the heart of the composition is a large Tarpa dance circle, symbolizing celebration and community spirit. A musician sits in the center playing the tarpa (a traditional trumpet-like instrument), while men and women dance in unison around him.
