Elevate your interiors with this Handcrafted Bidri Vase – Khamaraki Design, an exceptional piece of India’s iconic Bidriware metal craft. Originating from Bidar, Karnataka, Bidriware is known for its deep blackened metal surface, made from a unique zinc-copper alloy, inlaid with pure silver using the Tarkashi (wire inlay) technique.
The Khamaraki design features flowing, vine-like or abstract geometric patterns, inspired by Persian and Mughal artistry. Every line is hand-etched and meticulously filled with silver wire by artisans who’ve preserved this 600-year-old tradition. The vase is then polished and oxidized using special soil from the Bidar fort to achieve the signature black finish.
