The material used in Longpi is made from a mixture of Black Serpentinite stone and weathered rock. This is mixed in a 3:1 ratio. Serpentinite rock provides the necessary strength, and weathered rock acts as the binding agent. The contents will be evenly heated and retain most of their nutrients, compared to steel or metallic alloy tea pots. The products, after use, are biodegradable. It's non-toxic, inert and non-reactive.
