Reviews & Ratings
The king of Jaipur, Ram Singh II, introduced blue pottery in Jaipur. The name Blue Pottery came from the Blue Glaze Technique. Blue Pottery is prepared by mixing Quartz stone powder, Powdered glass, multani mitti, Borax, Gum, & Water by Mina Tribes artisans of Jaipur. Ornamentation is done with the help of a brush made from the hair of a squirrel. Decorated with the motifs of Flowers, Birds & other animals.
Note: Although an artisan does take care to maintain pattern and colour scheme however to create identical products a little variation could be seen against the image shown here, being hand-made products.Disclaimer: There might be little shade variation between the actual product and the image shown on the screen due to the photography effect.
