Where India’s Tribal Heritage Comes Alive
18 March
– 5 April 2026
Some
stories are written in words. Others are woven, painted and handcrafted by
generations of skilled hands.
Bharat
Tribes Fest 2026 celebrated these stories by bringing together the vibrant art,
craft, textiles and cultural traditions of tribal India.
Organised
by TRIFED, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, the festival
created a platform where artisans and visitors came together to discover and
celebrate India’s rich tribal heritage.
A Journey Through Tribal India
Every
craft has a story.
From
intricate textiles and traditional handicrafts to paintings and décor, the
creations showcased at BTF 2026 reflected the unique traditions, creativity and
identity of communities from across India.
Look
beyond the craft, and you discover the culture behind it.
The Hands Behind the Craft
At the
heart of BTF 2026 were the artisans.
Their
hands carry skills and knowledge passed down through generations. Every detail,
pattern and technique reflects years of experience and a deep connection with
tradition.
When we celebrate the craft, we celebrate the
craftsperson too.
More Than a Festival
Bharat Tribes
Fest was more than a showcase of handcrafted products.
It was a
celebration of colour, culture, creativity and community—bringing
different regions and traditions together under one roof.
Different
stories.
Different traditions.
One vibrant expression of India.
From the Artisan’s Hands to Your Home
The story
continues beyond the festival.
Through Tribes
India, authentic tribal art, handicrafts, textiles, décor and artisan-made
creations reach a wider audience.
Because
when you bring home something handcrafted, you bring home more than a product.
You bring home a piece of India’s heritage.
