Meenakari, also known as enameling, involves handcrafting vibrant patterns on metal surfaces by fusing mineral substances on them. In the past, enameling was only done on gold, but presently it is done on other metals like silver, copper etc. An elephant with an ambabari, carrying a carriage on its back, represents the grandeur and significance of elephants in ceremonial processes during the Mughal era.
