Meenakari is an ancient art of colouring or decorating metal, marble, or ceramic surfaces through the enamelling technique. In the 16th century, Raja Man Singh of Amber brought this beautiful Meenakari craft to Rajasthan. King established skilled minakars in Jaipur, which later became the centre of Meenakari. In the past, enamelling was only done on gold, but presently it is done on various surfaces like metals, marble, ceramic, etc. At present, the Tribal artisans of Rajasthan use this technique to decorate multiple products such as religious idols, metal figurines, metal jewellery, etc. This royal Rajasthani-style metal Meenakari artefact is ideal for decorating any corner of your home or office, as well as a good luck charm gift. A really beautiful piece you would like to possess, or an excellent gift to your friends or family on auspicious or festive occasions.
